Thank you all
Dear Exhibitors, dear Visitors, dear Partners: we would like to say ‘thank you’ for joining the Rotherham European Business Festival. Thank you for your attendance and for your trust. Without you we wouldn’t be able to organize this event.
We are aware that there’s still a lot to improve, that we need to find the other way to reach more potential beneficiaries, but we are happy hearing from our Visitors, Partners and Exhibitors: yes, the idea is fantastic.
We hope to see you again soon.
Thank you all!
Nearly 30 companies and organizations promoted their offer at first edition of Rotherham European Business Festival. They offered business & legal advising, debt management, accountancy, marketing, video, photography and PR services, sales support, various professional courses – often completely free of charge, apprenticeships, business networking opportunities – both local and international, as well as job opportunities, tourist offers in Central & Eastern Europe and… top quality Polish windows in competitive prices. Anyone interested in starting or growing business could find somebody that can give a hand and could participate great presentations delivered by our Partners. We are also proud that we hosted a Polish organization – Local Investors Service Centres (LCOI) – that helps invest in Eastern Poland.
The second day of Rotherham European Business Festival consisted of two conference panels. During the first one attendees could learn more about business support in Yorkshire. The presentations were delivered by Rotherham Investment & Development Office, Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, UK Trade & Investment, Enterprise Europe Network, Inova Consultancy and The Skills Academy. The second panel touched various topics like: linking businesses from Yorkshire with those from Central & Eastern Europe (Yorkshire Tourist Organization), support for Rotherham communities (RotherFed), domestic violence and Polish helpline for its victims (by Ewa Wilcock from Polish Domestic Violence Helpline), offer for investors interested in Eastern Poland (LCOI) and investing in properties in the UK (by Fridomiacy). Find out more about seminars here.
We are happy that Rotherham European Business Festival was something more than a networking opportunity: those who are thinking about setting up or growing business have found support (workshops, one-to-one consultation and various trainings completely free of charge).
