Find out how by attending the “Ready for Business” presentation and make your first steps towards owning your own business at the Rotherham European Business Festival.

Come and meet Martyn Benson and Bob Langley who will share their extensive knowledge and experience with you.

What is Ready for Business? – A Start-up Support project:

It is a national project – that applies in what are known as the ‘Assisted Areas’ of Yorkshire and Humberside and parts of Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.

People who are employed or unemployed can apply – on the basis that they plan to run a legal, full-time* business in one of the Assisted Areas.

*= defined as working in the business for at least 30 hours per week (but that includes administration, marketing & business travel).

Applicants normally have to attend at least the Introductory Seminar and to work with a Business Advisor from the scheme.

The presentation about the benefits of participating the project will be delivered by Bob Langley and Martyn Benson.

Martyn Benson is Business Development Co-ordinator for the Soft Landing Zone at RiDO, he specializes in start-ups, business incubation, business planning/development, grant administration, retail regeneration & youth enterprise.

Bob Langley is Business Advisor with a huge experience in financial industry. He is specialized in business planning and sales strategy development, visioning and strategic planning, business coaching and mentoring, new business start up advice, business development and expansion.
